One more time, producers, Masters of Cuban rum, distributors, marketers and researchers, all passionate about Cuban Light Rum, meet again to exchange experiences and knowledge, this time at the Second Scientific-Technical International Symposium on Cuban Light Rum which will take place on 16,17 and 18 July in the Central Rum Factory, located in the province of Villa Clara.
The event is sponsored by Cuba Ron SA and has the participation of all members of the Movement of Masters of Cuban Rum, as well as specialists and managers of Cuban producer companies and distributors of Cuban rums in the international market. The event for three days will also host distinguished national and international guests, who will exchange on trends in production and consumption of spirits in traditional and emerging markets.
The Corporation Cuba Ron SA, the host, is the producer of the only five brands of rum bearing the Protected Designation of Origin CUBA: Havana Club, Santiago de Cuba, Cubay, Varadero and Caney, which also hold the Seal of Guarantee of the Republic of Cuba
That is why the Scientific-Technical International Symposium will also be a unique opportunity not only to enrich the cultural heritage that distinguishes the Cuban light rums, but to set the technical and production bases that raise even further their internationally recognized quality.
