The Metropolitan Park of Havana, where the first Salsa Festival was recently held - was the venue chosen by Emilio Frías (El Niño) to present to the public this July 3rd his recent CD: Más duro. A marathon and outdoor show served the young talent of Cuban popular dance music to also celebrate the three-year anniversary of his orchestra La Verdad.
Despite the threat of rain that Sunday afternoon, the audience was waiting for El Niño, dancing with the rumba group Osaín del Monte, invited to collaborate on the album. This phonogram, launched in Cuba under the EGREM label and produced by Juan Manuel Ceruto- has other luxury guests, including Alexander Abreu and Habana de Primera,
It excels the song "El Secreto", in which unite their voices Isaac Delgado, Alexander Abreu, Mandy Cantero (singer from Juan Formell y Los Van Van) and Emilio Frías, accompanied by the La Verdad and Osaín del Monte.
"We decided to call it Más duro because we believe that this music is superior to the previous one. This name was suggested by the master Ceruto "said Emilio Frias in recent statements to the press.
It seems that he is right, because the public responded very well during the concert. It was a vibrant show which confirmed the composer and singer of La Mata and the success Dime cuánto, a place among the forefront of the current Cuban popular music.
