Havana hosted on -July sixth, seventh and eighth- the III Festival of Social Communicators, event sponsored by Cuba Ron SA, Ron Cubay and other brands. During the days of presentations and exchanges between over 450 professional, advertising, strategic planning, brand and internal communications issues were discussed.
Rosa Maria Perez, madam chairman of the Organizing Committee, described as "significantly valuable" the presence of this entity: "It is a product that typifies the country and transcends in the taste and recognition of Cuban and international audiences."
"The corporation has been very important because it represents a value of identity, and its advertising is focused on the product, ethical issue on which we insist a lot in Cuba. So we had the confidence to ask them to sponsor us, "she said.
The event, held at the Melia Cohiba hotel, was attended by Cuban professionals, experts from Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico, Spain, Brazil and Colombia, Chile and Costa Rica.
